If I was in New York City

As usual, NYC has some great art shows in the museums. Alberto Burri: The Trauma of Painting is at the Guggenheim. Cut, torn, resembled, and painted works that reflect the violence and reconstruction of the 20th century. Joaquín Torres-García: The Arcadian Modern is at the MOMA. Joaquín Torres-Garcia dives deep into child like representation. Here is the link. A collection of Picasso's sculptures are on display at the MOMA as well. Many of his works in the 3D are kind of beautiful failures that attempt in many ways to reproduce his painting innovations. Others are pure collage that started to break some ground in material and form innovation. And even others seem to be models for his paintings. Her is the link for this show.
