There by Lawrence Weiner, at least I am pretty sure it is his, on the outside of the Ross House in Dallas. It seems Weiner is recording events that we did not witness, but the evidence is left behind in words and images. Other times the message is unclear and leave you with your own images and imagination, much like abstract art, without all the splashing paint. Weiner is one of the reasons I feel in love with words, but I find myself moving away from text into a more abstract shapes. I still feel the images relate to text, but somehow more and more divorce from the original source. Maybe I am ready to abandon text all together. Hmmm, well if I do, the importance of detail will likely remain important.
