Another MFA student finishing up is Miguel Arzabe. This work above is titled: Infinite Regress, size: 96in x 68in, medium: Acrylic, spray paint, and gel transfer on panel and year: 2007. Arzabe seems to like mathematical information. This abstract work is clearly a fractal painting and many of us have seen fractal images, but this is still is capturing my imagination. Arzabe's 2008 and 09 work has lost some of the mathematical heavy references, but I hope Miguel returns to it and soon. Congrats to you Miguel Arzabe for your MFA at Berkeley.
