The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles - a downtown museum that is featuring Dan Graham. I found that models of his outdoor art work helpful in comparison to a few exampled of his work that was displayed in the gallery. His videos were hit or miss with me, but the giant projectors were quite interesting to behold. The museum has a nice gift shop that is separated from the exhibition space and this is important, because the art is separated from the commodity. Sure art is a commodity, but it is fun to pretend that it is not, by creating museum spaces, and museums with a separate shop really helps with the fun illusion of art having not economic value.
